La recherche se concentre sur les défis d'applicabilité des logiciels de traduction chez les étudiants du Collège fédéral de l'éducation (FCE) de Pankshin, au Nigeria, en particulier dans la traduction en langue française. À mesure que la technologie évolue, les logiciels de traduction sont devenus des outils pédagogiques essentiels, aidant les étudiants à surmonter les barrières linguistiques et à interagir avec des contenus étrangers. Cependant, des problèmes tels que l'inexactitude des traductions, les malentendus culturels et contextuels, les limitations techniques et les préoccupations éthiques entravent leur efficacité. À travers une approche mixte impliquant des données quantitatives et qualitatives, cette étude identifie les expériences des étudiants, les défis rencontrés et leurs besoins en formation lors de l'utilisation de ces outils. Les résultats révèlent des problèmes fréquents d'exactitude, d'adaptation culturelle et de soutien insuffisant en matière de compétences techniques. L'étude plaide pour des programmes de formation améliorés sur les logiciels et une fiabilité accrue des logiciels afin de maximiser les bénéfices pédagogiques, dans le but d'aider les décideurs et les éducateurs à favoriser une utilisation efficace des logiciels de traduction dans FCE Pankshin.
